Yes, all our products are made from natural sources like bamboo, konjac root, etc.
Because our Konjac Sponge is a natural vegetable sponge and contains no preservative or additive agents, the natural fiber is likely to decompose faster if compared to synthetic fiber. If the sponge is used daily, we recommend to replace the sponge around 4-6 weeks after the first day of use. If you do not use the sponge on daily basis, it will last longer.
It's important to always rinse the sponge with clean running warm water after using it. Using clean hands, press the sponge gently in between palms to drain water out. Do not twist, squeeze, or press the sponge too hard as it may damage the sponge. Hang the sponge in a well-ventilated area to dry it. Do not expose the sponge to direct sunlight and do not leave the sponge in humid place for hygienic reason. Alternatively, keep the sponge in a container and store it in a refrigerator.
Yes. In general, all of our sponges are safe to use for pregnant women. However, if you have a certain condition or allergy, please consult with your doctor.
That's completely up to you!
Some people, especially those who need to remove heavier makeup, like to still use a cleanser, and you most certainly can.
But you do not have to if you do not want to. Some people like to use the sponge with no cleanser first thing in the morning, and then use a cleanser at night, especially if they have been wearing sunscreens or oily makeup.
The sponge can actually do the cleanse on its own. But it's your call, if you feel you have a heavier product or pollutions that needs removing.
If you do use a cleanser: Use less cleanser, as the sponge will make the cleanser work harder and go further!
Make the sponge a part of your daily regime. Simply use the sponge morning and evening, or whenever you would usually wash or cleanse your face. You cannot actually over exfoliate with the sponge, as its delicate and only removes the dead skin cells, never damaging the new skin that's underneath. It's kinder than heavy exfoliants, so very suitable for daily use.

Generally, you will not need to sterilize the sponge, as it's just for you, and it should not hold the bacteria so long as you are following the care instructions. But, if you really want too, or you have acne, yes, feel free to boil the sponge for a few minutes in a pan of boiling water if you want. It is perfect for beauty therapists who want to reuse the sponge on their clients.
Yes, it will certainly help. By gently but deeply cleansing, the sponge will draw out impurities and excess oils that cause spots. We would recommend our konjac facial sponge with bamboo charcoal for this problem.

Yes! The bamboo is surface treated with natural wax. This improves the grip and hygienic properties of our toothbrushes.
No, just the handle is 100% biodegradable. Unfortunately, the bristles (less than a gram of material) aren't biodegradable. No biodegradable fibre exists that does it as well and for as long as the industry standard nylon bristles we use (apart from pig hair, which we won't use, and which has its own set of environmental and ethical implications). This means, you have to remove the bristles and add them into your plastic recycling. Check our blog post "How to dispose of a bamboo toothbrush properly" for more info.
The only natural material which has the same properties as nylon is either pig or badger hair. That’s not something we’d like to brush our teeth with. Plant based bristle does not exist despite claims of other sellers (ask them for certifications if you want to be sure!). We use Nylon-6, free from the toxin BPA (Bisphenol A) and BPS (Bisphenol S). Our charcoal bristle are certified for absence of the above toxins by TÜV Rheinland.
All our adult toothbrushes have either soft bristles or medium bristles. The kids toothbrushes have ultra-soft bristles. Why? The answer is simple: Recommended by dentists!
